Solo traveler cozy spot

I arrived at 8:30 PM and had a warm welcome from the staff, who were very accommodating. The room was spotless, the bed felt like a cloud, and I fell asleep instantly, no better feeling after a long drive.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but it was worth every cent.

The room I was given was dirty, with grease on the walls and grime on the floors. I was appalled to find the toilet clogged by the middle of the night and it never worked properly at all. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, feeling like a piece of particle board. It was so bad that I ended up sleeping in my clothes and kept my shoes on just to walk around the room.

I had a fantastic stay thanks to the great comfort of my room and the really friendly staff who made me feel welcome right away. It’s just a short walk to Capitol Theatre and the Discovery Park of America, perfect for weekend sightseeing. I especially appreciated how clean the area around the hotel was, which made my walks even more enjoyable.

The cleanliness left much to be desired!!! The appliances looked neglected and the walls had stains!!!

I really enjoyed my time here, especially when I soaked in the jacuzzi after a long day and watched a movie in the cozy lounge. The continental breakfast was decent, but it was a bummer that I couldn't take anything to my room. If you're planning to visit, just remember to stick close to the dining area for breakfast! 😊

Upon arrival, the room was far from clean—dirt and grease coated the walls, there was an uncomfortable bed that felt like sleeping on a slab of wood, and the bathroom left a lot to be desired with a toilet that struggled to flush properly. Overall cleanliness was lacking, as I had to clean the nightstand just to feel marginally comfortable, which reeks of poor management and upkeep.

The Deluxe Double Room provided an incredibly comfortable experience, complete with beautiful bedspreads and thoughtful furnishings. The homemade pastries at breakfast stood out, making the morning feel special. There were a few issues with bathroom accessibility, as additional grab bars would have enhanced safety. Additionally, noise from the nearby highway was a bit bothersome, impacting the overall tranquility of the stay.

We had a lovely time here. The room was clean and smelled great, really made us feel at home! The owners were friendly and super helpful. We appreciated the nice little breakfast area too! Just wish the coffee could be a bit stronger, but overall, a nice place to unwind.
